Brett Azar was born on February 11th 1987 in Massachusetts and raised in Rhode Island. At a height 6’2″ and a body of athletic muscle, Mr. Azar’s greatest acting career highlight has been his role as the IRON SHEIK on NBC’s hit show Young Rock with Dwayne Johnson. He’s a starring cast member on show.
Some of his career highlights include having the twice-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a motion capture model for the famous T-800 first portrayed by the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator Genisys and again in Terminator Dark Fate. Brett is a lifelong fan of Schwarzenegger, Azar’s championship physique was used to replicate the famous cyborg in its human disguise during iconic fight scenes.
Brett has appeared in a few national commercials with Ryan Reynolds for multiple products. He was also a fan favorite contestant on competition show The Worst Cooks in America on the Food Network, where he was a semifinalist under Chef Anne Burrell’s tutorial. He will also appear large roles in upcoming projects with Megan Fox, Jeff Daniels, Diane Lane, and Lucy Liu.
Brett Azar is a multi-faceted talent in the entertainment world. Mr. Azar attended Barrington High School where he graduated in the top percentile, held the role of captain of his state championship football and baseball teams, and loved performing in the competitive chorale ensemble. He attended the University of Rhode Island where he took classes in Theatre and Film Studies and Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Batchelor of Science degree in exercise Science.
In his early professional career, he worked as a Certified strength and conditioning specialist before starting to model and act professionally. Mr. Azar has competed in the Heavyweight Category of the National Physique Committee (NPC) Championships, winning several competitions.
